Aberration of Light

Aberration of Light is an apparent shift of an object in the same direction with thedirection of movement of the earth. These symptoms are caused in part by the movement of earth around the sun and a small portion of the earth's rotation on its axis.

Apparent shift of the location of celestial bodies is concerned, only small, because the speed of light is much greater than the speed of movement of the earth. Effect ofcirculation of the earth called annual aberration, while those caused by the dailyrotation of the earth is called aberration. The biggest annual aberration calledaberration constant.

The first person who discovered this natural phenomenon is the British astronomerJames Bradley in 1726.
